Defending the Constitution

In Lake Elmo, Minnesota, the city council decided to ban the sale of all produce grown outside city limits. By reinstating this law which had been largely ignored, farmers lost the Constitutional protection that had previously guaranteed them the right to free trade.  This Sunday, Bob talks to Anthony Sanders, an attorney for the Institute of Justice who represents a family of farmers fighting to sell their produce in Lake Elmo. It’s just another example of government treating Constitutional rights as a mere technicality. It starts with pumpkin sales in rural Minnesota and ends up with the total denial of economic freedom. As pumpkins go, so goes the nation.

In this encore episode, Bob interviews John Lovell: a lobbyist for law enforcement groups who is fighting against the movement to legalize marijuana in In this encore episode, Bob interviews John Lovell: a lobbyist for law enforcement groups who is fighting against the movement to legalize marijuana in the state of California. The initiative, also known as the “Tax Cannabis Act,” received enough signatures to qualify for the November ballot.  If it is approved, California would become the first state to legalize marijuana for recreational use by adults. The measure would also give local governments the authority to regulate and tax pot sales.

The Age of Unenlightment

07/11/10

In this encore episode, Bob warns you about 2012.  That’s the year that Congress has ordered us to stop using incandescent light bulbs.  All our homes will look like the inside of a DMV office.  Even  the freedom to have light is being denied us.  And this in the name of environmentalism?  After taking away light, what will be next?  Listen and find out.

The Founding Fathers

07/04/10

What would they think of Obamamerica?  In this encore episode, Bob interviews Jerry Hurwitz, American Revolution Historian and reenactor.  Bob and Jerry will share little known stories of the founding of America, the richness of our heritage and how close we came to not having a country.  Get to know the story of our country as you never have before.

Government Spending is out of Control

06/27/10

The Federal Government is spending $98,000.00 every second and the ballooning national debt is now $13 Trillion.   Will America become the next Greece? This Sunday, Bob will talk to Jim Martin from Spending Revolt, a new coalition of taxpayers, families, business owners, and policy organizations that is launching a national advocacy campaign to raise citizen awareness about how the mounting federal spending crisis is jeopardizing America’s future.  The group’s online “spending calculator” computes how much money the government has spent during an online user’s visit to the website, and it estimates the amount of government expenditures taking place during common daily activities.  Check it out at http:www.spendingrevolt.com.

Government: No Match for The Gulf Spill

06/20/10

Obama has done the impossible – he has taken the most powerful elected office on earth and made it look powerless!  Using his Harvard Law School training in the management of deep water drilling, he has taken charge of the oil spill.  The Republic is safe.  This Sunday, Bob will interview award winning journalist Eric Pooley, author of “The Climate War” and Expert Analyst on the Oil Spill to examine what the Gulf Oil disaster proves about the relationship between business and government and reaffirms a free market economy.  The lessons are clear.

The Credit Crunch

6/13/10

This Sunday, Talk 910 will air an encore presentation of  “The Credit Crunch.”  Small businesses account for 70% of jobs, yet they are being starved for credit.  No one in the Administration has ever operated a small business, worked for one or seemingly ever met a small businessman.  Ben Bernanke’s concept of “too big to fail” results in business that are “too small to succeed.”  In this episode, Bob shows us how to start the flow of credit once again.  While he’s at it, he’ll examine whether the Obama foreclosure “solution” is just a reward for irresponsible parties at the expense of the penny pinchers (hint – it is!).

Libertarians for Change

06/06/10

Bob’s guest will be Gary Johnson, the admirable two-term Governor of New Mexico.  Inspired by Thomas Jefferson, Governor Gary Johnson has successfully brought his Libertarian views to this high office.  Governor Johnson will discuss issues ranging from the Gulf Wars to the Gulf oil spill and from bailouts to free market banking.  Hear his views on hate free immigration from a state that shares the borders, the issues and the problems of Arizona.  Shouldn’t you get to know our next President? Unless I am mistaken, he will be the man leading the charge against big tax and spend government in 2012.  Check out http://ouramericainitiative.com/ to learn more about Governor Johnson.

Changing the Face of History

05/30/10

In this encore episode, Bob shares his outrage at the politicization of textbook writing.  Are our kids being taught by politicians or by educators?  High school kids are being indoctrinated in a way no different than radical Islam Madrassas indoctrinate their students.  What it means to be an American could be lost . . . possibly forever.

05/23/10

This  Bob will interviews John Dennis, a Republican contender who is vying for Nancy Pelosi’s seat in the House in the upcoming Congressional election.
