Bob will explore licensing laws that regulate yoga studios in the state of Virginia. The government is hurting these businesses by collecting fees from proprietors who are training new instructors and it goes so far as to put them in jail if they don’t comply with the law. Rob Frommer, chief litigator from the Institute for Justice, will explain how this not only violates the constitution but goes against freedom of speech.

Government vs. Private Industry
12/6/09Organ Donations
11/22/09This Sunday, Bob will argue that buying and selling of body parts should be legal. The current system is flawed, favoring certain people who are fortunate and able to push themselves to the front of the waiting list. Everybody could benefit from a system that would also save more lives and compensate people for the commodities they have to sell. He will be joined by Professor Nancy Shepher-Hughes from UC Berkeley who will argue that because the practice is gruesome in third world countries, it should be outlawed in the US. Leaving the question to be answered: Why can’t we do it better here?
Ethics & Economic Freedom vs. Healthcare
11/15/09This Sunday, Bob’s guest will be MD and attorney Bruce Fagel. Together they’ll review the obscene income transfers inherent in pending health care reform legislation, and see how it stands up against core American principles. Is it reform (”amendment of what is defective” according to Webster’s) of health care or its destruction? Learn why Obamacare is a Trojan Horse, loaded with social engineering and massive income transfers. You won’t get this anywhere else.
Legalize Insider Trading
Legalize Insider Trading – Bob is joined by Don Boudreaux, an economics professor at George Mason University. They discuss why they believe insider trading should be legalized. If investing were based on real numbers rather than pure speculation the system would work more efficiently. Let’s even the playing field and allow everyone to have access to the same information.
Truth in Advertising
10/18/09As the FTC cracks down on online ads; Bob wonders why more regulations need to be put in place to protect consumers who are perfectly capable of making decisions about purchases that are right for them. Let’s end expensive and unnecessary government oversight and wipe out nannies once and for all. The Cato Institute’s scholar Jim Harper joins Bob to discuss this topic.
The Age of Unenlightenment
9/20/09In this episode, Bob warns you about 2012. That’s the year that Congress has ordered us to stop using incandescent light bulbs. All our homes will look like the inside of a DMV office. Even the freedom to have light is being denied us. And this in the name of environmentalism? Having taken away light, what will be next? Listen and find out.
Seasteading
9/13/09This Sunday, Bob will chat with Patri Friedman, one of the creators of Seasteading. Check out their website at www.seasteading.org. A chance to live in Libertarian Utopia and experience America as the Founders intended. It’s well funded and on the way.
Legalization of Prostitution
08/30/09Isn’t it about time we respected the privacy of a woman’s body and her freedom to do with it what she wishes? Even if she wishes to rent parts of it? Legalization of prostitution is good for women, good for the economy and good for politicians like Eliot Spitzer. Bob interviews Heidi Machen, president of the San Francisco City Democratic Club, to get the other side.
End the Unconstitutional Federal Involvement in Education
08/23/09Bob examined federal involvement in education policy and interviewed Andrew Coulson from the Cato Institute about the need for any federal involvement in education. Parents and teachers should control education, not civil servants who are thousands of miles away.
